Ted Cruz Booed Off Stage at Middle East Christian Conference

Sen. Ted Cruz was booed offstage at a conference for Middle Eastern Christians Wednesday night after saying that “Christians have no greater ally than Israel.”

Cruz, the keynote speaker at the sold-out D.C. dinner gala for the recently-founded non-profit In Defense of Christians, began by saying that “tonight, we are all united in defense of Christians. Tonight, we are all united in defense of Jews. Tonight, we are all united in defense of people of good faith, who are standing together against those who would persecute and murder those who dare disagree with their religious teachings.”

He said, If you will not stand with Israel independence, then I will not stand with you….and he left the stage.

What do you think about that, Shimshon?
Were the people there anti-Zionist Christians or what?

Most definitely, yes they were. I totally appreciate Ted’s position. But, was this the place to stand his ground? I supposes it is. It’s not like he wasn’t a Christian too.

It goes to show me just how polarized it’s become. And that it’s ‘happening again’. The Holocaust that is. The winds are stirring again. The heat is rising.

I can’t help but wonder if the Ted Cruz incident will end up stirring up Christian against Christian – the pro Israel Christians against the anti Israel Christians. There is definitely something strange going on in the world.
Many years ago I used to post on a forum where people talked about all kinds of things from politics to Ufos and other “new age” things, and one of the other Christians on the forum said that one day “they are going to hunt us down like dogs.” I never forgot that.

I don’t think I ever remember religion begin so at the forefront of the news -and then there are the crazy things like someone putting up a devil statue in a park in Vancouver, or the black mass that is going to be held in Oklahoma or the person who desecrated a statue of Jesus and put it on Facebook.

It is a strange world, and I am thinking it is going to get a lot stranger.

There is another factor and it is very strong in the world but seldom looked at in a deep way. That is Christlam. Even though we tend to think of Christians in terms of evangelicals, the truth is that in the world there are 1.2 or so Christians and the vast majority of them are Catholic. I have been told recently that the majority of the US Christians are also Catholic. So what you ask? Well the Catholic church is seriously working to join forces with Islam to form a new world religion Christlam. The leaders of Islam are really pretty comfortable with Catholicism and I have read that Mohammud was actually raised as a Catholic. He, like catholicism reveres Mary as a goddess really. It’s all a sick thing, but I am convinced that the Apostate condition of the end times church is what had John the apostle so shocked. Just a side note to this is that the catholics have also established new doctrine to include Extraterrestrials as new Christian converts. During the Holocaust Romes was right in there with the rest of the Nazi party and seemed to have no problem with the things that were happening.

Islamic leaders don’t think Catholics are “infidels”?

Typo error above, should read ” 1.2 billion or so Christians”.
Yes Kathy they do, so long as they do not recognize Muhammud as the great prophet and submit to their new order. But at the same time I believe they see Catholics as a field ripe for harvest. There are a lot of similarities or commonalities that they might see as a bridge to a new single group. There are vatican insiders who are voicing concerns over this new tendency toward merging. The Catholic church has a long history of merging. From the beginning they were formed out of the merging of Romes Paganism and the remnants of the original Christ following Jews and early Gentile believers. In each area as they spread, their policy was to assimilate people but also to bring in cultures. You can see this to a great extent in the Catholic churches, in central and south America. There the cultures, Pagan beliefs, and sort of coexisting deities were brought together as a new variation of Christianity. This is what is truly amazing about the new pope, and his being from South America. It almost points to the fact that the open metamorphasis has begun in earnest has begun. (In my opinion), because he represents a complete change in order from the older European foundation.

I think that what I am seeing is in a world view, everything has frazzled, come apart at the seems. Morality, civil order, standards of values, you name it, and it is all up for grabs. And the Catholic Church is working hard to come out on top. So are the Islamists. If they join forces,,,, well it looks to be the end game and with any revolutionary change, first order of business is to clean house, and sweep out all those who don’t fit in the new order. They care considered to be bad seed that they will not want to have springing up.

Yes, I’m too divergent for their purpose.

I heard that about the pope when he took power. Among the prophecies about being the last pope.
